Lands End B&B is situated within easy walking distance (2 minutes) from the beach access at Colbourne passage and 3 minutes walking distance from beach access at Princess Margaret Bay. Both beaches are sand/shale and child friendly. Eco tours and Sidney harbour tours are accessed at Canoe Cove Marina near the ferry terminal.

Lands End Road is a popular walking/jogging/cycling road in the North Saanich area and joins onto Lochside Regional Trail to east and meets West Saanich Road to the west to extend biking activites. Horth Hill Park is just behind Lands End B&B and offers excellent hiking trails and spectacular West Coast scenery and views.

The town of Sidney is 5 minutes away by car (an easy 40 minute walk). Sidney is known as the 'Used Book Capital Of Canada'. It absolutely lives up to that designation with no less than 5 used book shops. Sidney also boasts several unique stores and numerous curbside coffee shops. The new Marine Centre opens in June 09 for spectacular viewing of undersea life.

For the nautically minded, Port Sidney, Westport Marina, Canoe Cover Marina and Van Isle Marina are well worth a visit for nothing more than to admire the yachts and dream.... someday!

Butchart Gardens, Butterfly World , Mineral World , Coles Bay Beech and other attractions on the Peninsula are within a easy drive.
